    Bike Shop Definition:
    • A "bike shop" is defined as a business with a physical storefront that sells and services bicycles and holds a contractual agreement with at least one bicycle brand or distributor.
    Sponsorship Level: A single sponsorship level of $1,500 applies to each participating bike shop (Fresh Air and Cyclepath contribute $3,000 each).

    Memberships: This sponsorship provides a base of 5 MTBCO memberships per shop, with up to 10 memberships based on the shop's level of engagement.

    Recognition: All participating bike shops receive equal recognition across all MTBCO events, marketing materials, and communication channels.


    Roles & Responsibilities:

    MTBCO:
    • Advocates for, maintains, and expands mountain bike access throughout the Central Okanagan.
    • Organizes community events, trail maintenance days, and related activities.
    • Manages trail maintenance, development, and improvement projects.
    • Provides marketing and communication materials to assist bike shops in promoting MTBCO memberships and activities.
    Local Bike Shops:
    • Actively promote MTBCO memberships and upcoming events to their customer base.
    • Participate in MTBCO events and trail maintenance days, fostering community engagement.
    • Provide MTBCO with a Employee discount on any prizes purchased by MTBCO from the shop.
